I love black and whites of homes and their inhabitants from that time period. We have a large one of the home I live in. What makes it so special is that it is a photo of my husbands great, great grand father as a boy with his family on the front step of our ancient field stone home which they built. The buggy out front is still housed in one of our barns ( although in the picture it was in finer condition). Wonderful of you to volunteer to keep our links to the passed intact- we have much to learn from where we have been.
That is a very clever photo. I think it must be so interesting to be working with the historical society.
