glasbake individual baking dishes

Tonight, we had smoky corn chowder and I served it in these cute little GlasBake dishes that I found at a tag sale about ten years ago. They have the sweetest lids, no?

I use them all the time.

I started collecting vintage glass custard cups about 20 years ago.  This one is GlasBake and I have two more like it, but the majority of the collection is Pyrex and Fire-King.  I have been puzzled over this lid for a long time.  My guess is that it doesn’t belong.  Yet, they were together when I purchased them (at a thrift store or tag sale, I don’t recall), and so they are together now.
